Keep It Simple

How many of us start a fitness program or diet and abandon it a few weeks or months after starting? Lots of us, right? Sticking to a diet or fitness routine can be difficult if you over complicate it. Fitness Guru, Kim Lyons, urges us to keep it simple. You don’t need fancy workout clothes or equipment. Just every day activities can be modified slightly to help you feel better. Even if you are not doing anything formal there are some simple things that you can do to feel healthier.

According to Kim Lyons there are three things you can do today, to help you feel healthier tomorrow.

Keep It Simple

  1. Hydrate: Your body is more than 60% water. You won’t look good, function or feel good if you are  not hydrated. This means water. Youkeep it simple can’t count liquid that has sugar or caffeine as part of you minimum fluid intake. Again, keep it simple.
  2. Move More: If you sit at a desk, stand up from time to time. Take a short walk. Walk to someone’s office to talk to them rather than just call. Sitting is incredibly bad for you.
  3. React to negative things in a positive way. We can’t control what happens to us, but we can control how we react to it. Shake it off. Being positive is less stressful.

You see, it can be very simple if we just do it. You don’t have to make it complicated.
